Tankless Water Heaters in Asheville and Weaverville

Tankless water heater installation, repair, and maintenance for homes in Asheville, Weaverville, and nearby towns. Gas, propane, and electric.

  • Licensed & insured
  • In business since 2009

A tankless water heater only makes hot water while you are using it.

When it works, you are not waiting on a tank to refill. When it does not, you can be out of hot water in the middle of a shower. We install, repair, and flush tankless heaters, and we explain whether repair or replacement makes sense before any work starts.

Signs you need tankless water heater service

  • No hot water, or hot water that will not stay hot
  • The heater shows an error code or will not fire
  • Water that is lukewarm when more than one faucet is on
  • A leak at the heater or its connections
  • It has been a long time since the heater was flushed

What we take care of

Not sure which one you have? Call and describe it. We will help you figure out what to do next.

No hot water from a tankless heater

A tankless heater that will not fire, or that runs cold, needs a look. Tell us whether it is gas, propane, or electric, and whether it shows an error code.

Hot water fades when two fixtures run

A tankless heater has to keep up with the hot water you use at once. If it falls behind, we look at the heater and how the home uses water, then explain the options.

Switching from a tank to tankless

Replacing a tank with a tankless heater is part of our water heater work. We look at the gas, propane, or electric service you have and explain the options and a firm price before any work starts.

Flushing and descaling

Mineral buildup is a common reason a tankless heater acts up, especially on well water. We flush and descale the heater. A difficult water heater flush is quoted separately.

Gas or propane tankless

Gas piping is part of our plumbing work. If you smell gas, leave the home and call 911 from outside. Do not use switches or phones inside. Call us for the heater only once it is safe.

Electric tankless

An electric tankless heater needs enough electrical service for the home. We look at what you have and explain what the job involves before any work starts.

Navien

Navien is a tankless brand we service. We are not a factory dealer. We look at the heater you have and tell you whether repair or replacement makes sense.

Leaking tankless heater

Shut off the water to the heater if you can. If water is going where it should not, call us. After hours we take emergency calls for water leaks.

What to expect on a visit

  1. You call or request service online
Call 828-676-5234 (Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM) or send the request form. Tell us what the system is doing, any noises, smells or error codes, and roughly how old the equipment is.
  2. We line up your visit
We work to get a technician to you the same day when we can. Home Care 360 members go to the front of the line when the schedule fills up. After hours we take emergency calls for no heat, no cooling and water leaks.
  3. The technician finds the cause
The technician checks the tankless heater you have, gas, propane, or electric, including how it fires and whether it needs a flush, to find out why the hot water is short or the heater is leaking.
  4. You get the options and a firm price
We explain what we found in plain language, give you a firm price, and you approve it before any work starts. The service call is $99 on weekdays and $149 after hours (waived if you buy the job). Home Care 360 members pay no weekday dispatch fee.
  5. We do the work
Once you approve, we make the repair or do the replacement you chose. If a repair does not make sense, we will say so.
  6. We clean up and check the result
Then we clean up and make sure you are comfortable with the result before we go.

Tankless Water Heaters in Weaverville and nearby towns

Homes in and around Asheville range from newer builds to older houses, and many homes outside town are on well water rather than city water. Well water can carry minerals that build up inside a tankless heater, so tell us if you are on a well when you call.

Repair, flush, or replace?

Age, error codes, leaks, and how well the heater keeps up all matter. We will check it and tell you whether a repair, a flush, or a replacement makes sense. You get a firm price and approve it before any work starts.
